I'm trying to copy an image from linux control server to cisco ASA firewall using ansible. I have tried these 2 commands in ansible:
- name: copying the file from tftp server to the ASA
asa_command:
commands:
- copy "scp://sarah@/home/sarah/asa917-23-k8.bin" "flash:/asa917-23-k8.bin"'
Also:
- name: copying the file from tftp server to the ASA
copy:
src: "/home/sarah/asa917-23-k8.bin"
dest: "flash:/asa917-23-k8.bin"
In neither case I could copy the image, and in best scenario a folder will be created in my control server with name of flash: and image will be copy on that. Could you please advise on it?
copy ansible asa

I have also tried net_put module. It didn’t work either.
