WebClient shouldInterceptRequest not called on device for ajax http request

I have an android app with webview.
onCreate I clear and disable cache:
browser.clearCache(true);
browser.getSettings().setCacheMode(WebSettings.LOAD_NO_CACHE);
browser.getSettings().setAppCacheEnabled(false);
perhaps the
public WebResourceResponse shouldInterceptRequest (WebView view,
WebResourceRequest request)
method is not called for ajax request when I run the app in develop device (samsung A5 API 26) but it works on simulator.
I tried to remove data and cache from app setting and also uninstall and re-install.
The shouldInterceptRequest is not fired for ajax, but webview reacts and update page with ajax result.
The ajax calls is differents each time because I append a timestamp parameter..
