Uploading Image File in MVC using angularjs. HttpPostedFileBase is null
I am facing the issue as documented in Uploading Excel File in MVC using angularjs. HttpPostedFileBase is empty
I am following the AngularJS approach and getting the error :
No MediaTypeFormatter is available to read an object of type 'HttpPostedFileBase'
I tried adding the below in WebApiConfig.Register() as mentioned there .
this.SupportedMediaTypes.Add(new MediaTypeHeaderValue("multipart/form-data"));
But getting an error that 'this' in not valid here. My WebApiConfig File is as follows :
public static class WebApiConfig
{
public static void Register(HttpConfiguration config)
{
// Web API configuration and services
// Web API routes
config.MapHttpAttributeRoutes();
config.Routes.MapHttpRoute(
name: "DefaultApi",
routeTemplate: "api/{controller}/{id}",
defaults: new { id = RouteParameter.Optional }
);
EnableCorsAttribute cors = new EnableCorsAttribute("*", "*", "*");
config.EnableCors(cors);
this.SupportedMediaTypes.Add(new MediaTypeHeaderValue("multipart/form-data")); // --> Error Here that this is invalid here
}
}
Please help me . I am new to AngularJS.
