Why MatDialog lost injected service inside method?
I have select-autocomplete on dialog page and on the first step user selecting the value.
Depending on this select result I should create different input bunch.
When a user fills this select-autocomplete I should move to the backend with service to receive data about what input bunch I should create in the dialog.
But service injection is lost after autocomplete filled.
In getProp
method dictionaryService
is undefined
.
How to bind dictionaryService
to PropertiesDialogComponent
for access to service inside getProps
method?
export class PropertiesDialogComponent implements OnInit {
constructor(public dialogRef: MatDialogRef<PropertiesComponent>,
public dictionaryService: DictionaryRequestService,
@Inject(MAT_DIALOG_DATA) public data: any) {
// in this moment dictionaryService is ok.
}
getProps(searchValue: string): Observable<EntityIdTitle> {
debugger
return this.getSearch(searchValue)
.pipe(
map((dicts: DictionaryItemsSearch) =>
dicts.map(i => ({id: i.id, title: i.title})))
);
}
}
<h2 matDialogTitle class="mb-3">Add</h2>
<div matDialogContent>
<form>
<div class="form-container">
<app-select-autocomplete
[multiple]="false"
[placeholder]="'property'"
[getOptions]="getProps">
</app-select-autocomplete>
</div>
</div>
// Create more inputs depend on app-select-autocompleteresult
</form>
</div>
PS app-select-autocomplete
is black box its huge component I don't know this work, he work correctly in another places with the same parameters.

i think inpublic dialogRef: MatDialogRef<PropertiesComponent>
component name is passed. If everything is fine, can you please create a small demo over stackblitz.
