Spring Boot Hibernate Interceptor not updating record
I'm using hibernate.ejb.interceptor to perform auditing of technical columns (Createdby, created_timestamp, Version, etc). The class extends EmptyInterceptor.
All objects that requires to be audited are extend by the BaseObject.
However when I'm performing a update action, instead of updating, a new record was inserted. And i managed to trace to an annotation @Version once i removed it update is performed as desired.
Any idea why @Version is causing the error as i'm required to implement the column for versioning.
