No reply from UDP device on Linux in Virtual Box

I have a question related to sending and receiving UDP packets from a virtual machine.
I have the following setup:
Windows 10 PC with Virtual Box installed version 5.2.16 r123759. On the virtual box I'm running Ubuntu 18.04.
I'm developing a home automation system and am interfacing to a electric car charger device Keba P30 which understands UDP protocol.
I now have a problem that someone with experience in networking can probably very easily answer.
I'm using Packet Sender for testing of the communication https://packetsender.com.
Now here the problem I'm facing:
I have installed Packet Sender on both the Windows part and on the linux in the virtual machine.
When I'm sending from Packet Sender on Windows a packet (content "i") to the car charger it answers correctly with the specified answer (see image below 1).
When I'm sending also from Packet Sender but from the linux on virtual machine I don't get a reply (see image 2).
When checking the communication in WireShark. I have noted that on linux the sender port is different (see image 3).
It can be seen that also when sending the UDP packet from linux that the car charger is answering correctly. However, the packet does not end up at the linux in the virtual machine. Any ideas what the reason could be?
I experience the same in the development environment where I'm using QT to develop the application. I'm just using now Packet Sender for testing as it seems a basic networking problem where I'm lacking enough know how. I hope to get some help here. Happy to provide additional input if needed.
