Chris Dillon
R. Christopher Dillon is a North Carolina attorney and judge of the North Carolina Court of Appeals. Dillon won election to the appellate court in a statewide race on Nov. 6, 2012, when he defeated incumbent Cressie Thigpen.[1]
Background
Dillon obtained his law degree from the University of North Carolina School of Law in 1990 and his undergraduate degree in business administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1987.[2][3] Following graduation from law school, Dillon worked for the Raleigh firm of Young, Moore & Henderson, before obtaining a real estate license and running his own real estate business.[4] He also later helped start CapStone Bank.[5]
Dillon ran unsuccessfully in 2010 for a seat on the North Carolina Court of Appeals.
