R chunk doesn't yield plot in R notebook, but console does
I just had this weirdest thing in my R notebook. Running one R chunk codes didn't give me the resulting plot in R notebook, but when I copied the codes in console, they ran just fine. Anyone had similar experience before? Previous R chunks were working just fine and gave the results in R notebook.
library(ggplot2)
library(ggExtra)
p <- HELPcrt %>% ggplot(aes(x=age,y=cesd)) + geom_point()+theme_classic() + stat_smooth(method = "loess", formula = y~x, size = 2)
p
This step was working fine, I can get the scatterplot with a smooth line. However, the following codes gave a mystery.
ggExtra::ggMarginal(p, type = "histogram", binwidth = 3)
They didn't yield anything in the R notebook, but I copied them in the console, and they gave the plot with marginal histograms in the Plots window.
Anyone know what's going on? I'm using a Mac.
