AppAuth performActionWithFreshTokens Failure after Access Token expires

0

I'm able to successfully call an Oauth2 endpoint, get an access token and a refresh token, and make API calls - until the access token expires using the AppAuth for Android Library. After the access token expires all API calls fail, even when using the "performActionWithFreshTokens" method provided by the library.

The error I get from the Fitbit api call response is: {"success":false,"errors":[{"errorType":"invalid_token","message":"Access token invalid: null.

However, the access token stored in my AuthState is populated and is not null.

What am I doing wrong? Thanks.
