Problem with deploying application in Tomcat with context path that contains version
I deploy an application in Tomcat that has context path different from the base file name. It is done,as I in the "host" section of the server.xml define:
<Host name="localhost" appBase="webapps"
unpackWARs="true" autoDeploy="false" deployOnStartup="false">
<Context path="/service" docBase="absolute path of the directory" />
When I start the tomcat, a "service" directory is created in the webapps, and I can access the application.
But when I try to register context as "/service/v2", a directory "service#v2" is created in the "webapps" directory and I cannot access the application (error 404).
Can anyone please help?
