TypeInitializationException (object not available in break mode)

0

I have some code in my program which looks like this:

private static MyObject options = new MyObject(
new Something(),
new SomethingElse()
);

I have wrote constructor arguments validation check in MyObject which throws some exception when arguments are not valid but when I try to test it I can't see my exception message. The program goes to break mode:

Your app has entered a break state, but no code is currently executing
that is supported by the selected debug engine (e.g. only native
runtime code is executing).

An I don't have access to exception object. I've seen answers to TypeInitializationException that says to check inner exception but I don't have access any exception at all.

The code is in main Program class of basic console application - it's really simple.

Why is this happening? How can I see my exception message?
