Using Keystore while connecting to Syslog via SSL for sending logs to Splunk

I am new to Syslog and its usage in sending logs to Splunk but need to make it work and by going through many links founded the way is to add Syslog appenders in Log4j2.xml and then the appender can be used for any required classes.
I followed the same and added appender and corresponding SSL and Keystore tags but when I start my Spring Boot server it says file not found whereas I have already added mykeystore.jks file in resources folder but it's not getting picked up and it says "File Not Found on the specified path". This is really unexpected.

Please read Under what circumstances may I add “urgent” or other similar phrases to my question, in order to obtain faster answers? - the summary is that this is not an ideal way to address volunteers, and is probably counterproductive to obtaining answers. Please refrain from adding this to your questions.
