Ali Eisner (born 13 May 1973) is a Canadian composer, director, photographer, producer, puppeteer, and writer for children's television.
Eisner has created children's content and performed on programs for the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, TVOntario, NBC Universal, YTV, Public Broadcasting Service, FOX Entertainment, Nick Jr and the Disney Channel. They appeared on TVO Kids in the "Jay the Blue Jay" show. In April 2013, Ali decided to leave Kids CBC. Eisner was the creator of "Mamma Yamma" (2007 - 2013), a Yam who lives in Kensington Market.
Eisner has improvised and performed with Bobby McFerrin, Dallas Green, Ron Sexsmith, Joel Plaskett, Tegan & Sara, Sarah Harmer, Kathleen Edwards, The Barenaked Ladies, Sloan, Serena Ryder, and the Great Lake Swimmers. Their most recent score was a children's preschool show called "Zerby Derby". Eisner is now the directing/Supervising Producer for the "Sunny Side Up Show" on PBS Kids Sprout.
