scan netkit virtual network with wireshark
So, I was given this project by my teacher and the goal is to create an application in python that does p2pchat in some specific way. He gave us this netkit lab with 4 virtual machines to test it and a command to dump the network trafic and pipe it to wireshark. So i tried it out and it seems I didn't have this vdump installed I tried searching for it online and found nothing about installing it or such.
I would apreciate your help in fixing it or maybe if there is any other way to record the virtual network trafic with wireshark.
Here's the command :
vdump rezo | wireshark -i - -k &
Thanks,

Having worked as a tester, I think its great that you are testing out your environment before going too far in.. but we need more info, you mean he said, in your VM environment, you could use that command? If it isn't on the system, is this the instructor's idea of a "field proficiency test"?
