View Design Tab in Sharepoint Solution
I am using SharePoint 2013 in our server and we are currently using Visual Studio 2013 as our editor for changing some files in the SharePoint solution.
Now what we want to know is, is it possible to view the design or the layout of the page you are editing ? I've done a lot of searching and there are no result that show how to do it. SharePoint Designer is a possible solution but we do not use that anymore since we have encountered many conflicts before.
Also is there any possibility that we can Run a SharePoint solution in the local machine the we are using without any SharePoint Farm installed ?
Our main goal is to check and maximize the possibilities on how we will approach a change in the solution without deploying it in the test server.
We are just avoiding the multiple deployment in the server while doing some changes in the SharePoint solution because first, it is hassle to do this process and also there are times that our changes takes too long to take effect in the server.
Thank you.
