Babel-loader and Webpack syntax error with TypeScript

0

I'm using Angular 5, Webpack and Babel-loader for my Microsoft Add-in project. However, I'm getting a syntax error when Babel tries to compile my project due to a colon. I have tried many different options found on Google/Stackoverflow, but I can't seem to fix this error.

The error message:

ERROR in ./src/app/services/data.service.ts
Module build failed (from ./node_modules/babel-loader/lib/index.js):

Webpack.config:

const HtmlWebpackPlugin = require('html-webpack-plugin');

module.exports = {
entry: {
polyfill: 'babel-polyfill',
app: './src/index.ts',
'function-file': './function-file/function-file.ts'
},

resolve: {

extensions: ['.ts', '.tsx', '.html', '.js']

And .babelrc:

  • Are you just missing the typescript preset in your Babel configuration?
