I am trying to make a POST request with authentication to elastic search database with httr package and I'm getting a 405 response. I am using R language. I'm trying to send a JSON object, what would be the correct way to declare a object that httr package could understand and convert for the request?

POST(
url = "https://search.mapi.digital/elasticsearch/admin/",
config =
list(
authenticate("xxxx", "yyy")
),
encode = "json",
verbose()
