I do not have much experience with JavaScript, but Iam wondering if is possible to encode external .txt file from server (not local) from w-1250 to UTF-8?



I got lot of strings in .txt file, but it is wrong encoding (and this can not be changed) and some words are not readable because of wrong encoding diacritics.



I spent few hours today of searching this problem and looking for some tutorials of how can be this done.



Anyone with experience to solve this problem?
