how to add custom xml tag?

0

I researched online and found a namespace needed to be created first so that it can be prefixed with custom tag. However it's a bit confusing for the url.

How do define the url which gonna contain the namespace. Could anyone explain this please?

Example:

I created custom tag inside functions.php for wordpress site.

add_action('rss2_item', 'add_my_custom_field_node');

function add_my_custom_field_node() {
global $post;
$tw3 = get_post_meta($post->ID, 'twitterthree-post-meta-box', true);
$tw2 = get_post_meta($post->ID, 'twittertwo-post-meta-box', true);
$tw = get_post_meta($post->ID, 'twitter-post-meta-box', true);
$fb1 = get_post_meta($post->ID, 'facebookone-post-meta-box', true);
$fb2 = get_post_meta($post->ID, 'facebooktwo-post-meta-box', true);
if(!empty($tw3)):
echo("<twitter-three>{$tw3}</twitter-three>");
endif;
if(!empty($tw2)):
echo("<twitter-two>{$tw2}</twitter-two>");
endif;
if(!empty($tw)):
echo("<twitter>{$tw}</twitter>");
endif;
if(!empty($fb1)):
echo("<facebook-one>{$fb1}</facebook-one>");
endif;
if(!empty($fb2)):
echo("<facebook-two>{$fb2}</facebook-two>");
endif;
}

On the /feed page I noticed these tags are not called out so the values for those post meta fields not visible.

But when I view the source code, I can see those custom tags added with post meta values called out.

I pasted my site's url here on online url: http://www.feedbucket.com/

and it doesnt show the custom tags's values.

Please explain to me if this is correct or wrong.
