separate jhipster monolithic application front end and back end i.e, separate app and web servers
I have a jhipster monolithic application where I am able to generate the *.war file using maven prod command.
mvnw -Pprod clean package -Dmaven.test.skip=true
Maven target folder structure:
---target
---Classes
---myApp
---www
---myApp.war
but I want to separate the front end and back of the application, thus I am able to deploy front end(angular js on port localhost:8080) and back end (java files on port localhost:8081).
http://localhost:8080/ - angular js front end
http://localhost:8081/ - java back end
I have refer this jhipster docs:
https://www.jhipster.tech/separating-front-end-and-api/
but it didn't work out for me.
Thanks in Advance.
java angularjs spring spring-boot jhipster
