How do I load resources correctly when configuring multiple folders on Nginx?

I am new to Nginx, and I'm having some problems on configuring it. I have always worked with a very simple configuration file, where only one app was running, e.g. Apache Airflow.
server {
listen 80;
location / {
proxy_pass http://localhost:8080/;
}
}
Everything was fine until I started to have two apps on the virtual instance. My configuration file is this:
server {
listen 80;
location /airflow {
rewrite ^/airflow(.*) /$1 break;
proxy_pass http://localhost:8080/;
}
location /dash {
rewrite ^/dash(.*) /$1 break;
proxy_pass http://localhost:8050/;
}
}
The problem with this is now resources are not well loaded, and the local ones have a 404 error on both apps. Both apps work if I configure them to be on the / location, but of course I can only have one app running there. The rewrite rule is something I found in many online tutorials and guides, but apparently doesn't help.
Do you have any suggestions?
Thanks in advance
