Vis.js network: checkbox and Hidden function

0

Created a network and want to use a checkbox to hide groups when ticked. Currently have it set up to cluster them, but wish to hide them instead for visualisation purposes. How do I incorporate a hidden function?

checkbox.onclick = (function(x) {
return function () {
let checkbox = document.getElementById('chk' + x);

if (checkbox.checked == true) {
network.clustering.cluster({
joincondition: function(nodeOptions) {return nodeOptions.group === x;},
clusterNodeProperties: {id: x, shape: 'square', size: 60, title: x, name: x}
});
} else {
console.log('opening: ' + x);
network.clustering.openCluster(x);
}
};
}(agroup))

checkbox.checked = false;

var label = document.createElement('label')
label.htmlFor = "chk" + agroup;
label.appendChild(document.creatTextNode(agroup));

container.appendChild(checkbox);
container.appendChild(label);
container.appendChild(document.createElement("br"))
}
}

This is the current code for the checkbox. This works for clustering them, however instead of clustering groups on check I want to just hide the group from the network.

  • Hi, I've formatted the code for you and added your comments; but the code looks incomplete (see the 2 extra }), please fix this. Ideally, provide a Minimal, Complete, and Verifiable example so that it's easier to help you and to verify that what I'm proposing actually works. You can use either SO snippet or a third-party service like jsFiddle for this. Best regards
