Object mapping on complex nested structures

0

Im building my clean architecture style Android app and I try to map my data layer models to domain models.

My problem is that my data structure is deeply nested and it contains similar (same type) objects on multiple levels.

Ultimately I want to build one mapper class for each type of object and hook them together.

I tried to use dagger, to make mappers as singletons and inject required mappers to each other but I end up to dependency cycle errors.

If I just "manually" create the mappers, I easily get StackOverflowError because Im creating so many mapper objects.

What is the typical way, how to handle map these big and complex objects to another?
