Mysql myini - file short - order by too slow

When we do Natural Search in Mysql from 1,000,000 rows, we have nearly 300,000 search results. This query lasts 7-8 seconds when we want to select the first 2,000 documents with the highest natural score.
This time is too long for us. How can we shorten the duration of the first 2,000 pick by sort by natural rating?
Data is kept in mysql. There are 1.500,000 data. The data consists of text title and text detail. Our developer knows aspx. software language aspx
Hardware: MYSQL SERVER, 16 GB RAM, SSD DISK
I've modified the Mysql myini file as follows:
sort_buffer_size = 4G
myisam_sort_buffer_siz A = 512M
The 7-second processing time was reduced to 2.6 seconds. However, he used shortfile again.
Our system supports 126 gb ram.
What settings should we change to render the list with 300,000 results via ram only? What hardware upgrades do we need to do? We don't want to get out of mysql if possible.
